This dress is a really close dupe to Christopher Esber's Pierced Orbit Column Dress which is the dress I originally wanted, the midi one. They do also have a minidress version. I LOVE the gold hardware being incorporated with the cut-outs in this way. The color of the gold hardware is actually more of a bronze. The differences you can clearly see are that the straps are a halter and there is less skin showing between the second gap. I do like the fabric as it's a good thickness so I didn't even have to wear pasties although I wish it was a bit tighter at the bottom of the dress because it didn't hug my thighs. It's a zipper in the back and the dress was comfortable to wear. I bought a size XS for reference and I'm about 5'3 so I liked that it wasn't too short on me.
I was so happy to find this U-Shaped Gold Bracelet to match the gold crescent hardware of the dress.
My wrist measures about 6 inches around for reference but these bracelets can definitely fit much bigger wrists. I wanted to do gold jewelry to match the gold hardware:
I also wore gold hoops but you can't see them in any of these photos due to the hair and I forgot where I bought them from because I've had them for awhile.
I love these heels because they're as comfortable as heels can get. I bought these last year and the brand prioritizes making their shoes comfortable. They are 3.5" with a thicker/block heel but I think they feel more like 3" because of the slight platform under the toes that probably take up that half inch. Some block heels, it color isn't all the way around and I like that the entire block heel is black. I think what contributes to making these comfortable since there are a lot of scrappy heels like this, is the material and the thicker heel strap across your toes and ankle. I find that when the straps are thinner, it's less comfortable and more of a strain on your feet and ankle. I wanted to be able to walk and dance in these all night so love that these are comfortable without having to sacrifice style.
I loved getting to wear this look to celebrate my birthday with friends. I felt sexy yet elegant - a great cocktail dress which inspired the theme: cocktail party.
